Lord Kitchener

I'm not quite sure why we needed the "cause of death needed" instruction. As the only cause of death given on the question sheet was "he drowned", this would seem to exclude (for example) "lost at sea".

Lord Kitchener died on 5 June 1916 when the cruiser HMS Hampshire struck a German mine and sank, west of the Orkney Islands. He was on his way from Scapa Flow to Archangel, to discuss the difficulties that Russia was having on the Eastern Front, with a view to providing relief in the form of munitions, strategy and/or finance. He was one of more than 600 people who lost their lives in the sinking.

I'm not even sure whether anyone actually knows for sure that he drowned. It's a reasonable assumption, but in any case the only possible answers to this question, that I can think of (apart from "don't know", "confer", or an incorrect guess), are "drowning" or "lost at sea". Seems a bit harsh, to say the least, to deny the points to anyone who gives the latter answer.
